Cleaning the Blender

To clean the Blender, take a few drops of detergent, fill halfway with hot water, and turn on blender for a while. Rinse and dry the blender.

The Breadboard

In order to remove onion, garlic, or fish smell. Cut a lime. Rub it over the surface of a cutting or breadboard.

Broken Eggs

If you drop an egg on the floor, generously sprinkle salt over it and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Sweep the dried egg into a dustpan.

Cleaning up Broken Glass

To clean the broken glass from the floor, sweep large pieces into a dustpan; pick up slivers with a damp paper towel.

Burnt Food in Pan

To remove Burnt Food in Pan, boil water in the pan to loosen food. Or you can sprinkle baking soda generously over the burned food and moisten with water. Let stand for few hours. Wash it with plain water.

Electric Can Opener

To clean Electric Can Opener, run a paper towel through the cutter to clean the blades. Do not use water to clean it.

Iron Skillets

To clean Iron Skillets, use commercial oven cleaner for the outside of the pan–let it stand for several hours and wipe off grime. Rub oil inside the pan to season it.

Copper ware

To clean Copper cookware use toothpaste and wash it with water.

Enamelware

To wash Enamelware fill the dish that contains left over food bits with boiling water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Let it stand and wash out.

Dishwasher

To remove soap film, run a cup of white vinegar through the entire cycle in an empty dishwasher.

Clogged Drain

To wash a grease-clogged drain, tip a cup of salt and baking soda followed by a kettle of boiling water. This will generally open the drain.

Glass Vases

To clean the Glass Vases, damp the interior of a glass vase and spray with any toilet bowl cleaner. After 10 minutes, wipe clean.

 

Cleaning the Grater

Brush off the kitchen left over from the grater with a pastry brush, then wash it with tap water.

 

Cleaning the Microwave

To remove stains, place a water-soaked sponge in the microwave. Cook on high heat for 2 minutes. Then without opening the microwave door, allow it to sit, for 5 minutes. The filth is now ready to be wiped right off. Do not scrub, use the sponge instead. Clean the glass oven window with a cloth dipped in baking soda.

 

Microwave Odours:

To remove Microwave Odours, keep a cup of baking soda in the microwave between uses.

Plastic ware

To remove tea or coffee stains from plastic cups, use baking soda and plain water.

 

Aluminium Pans

To remove dark stains from the aluminium pans, put some boil water and some white vinegar inside the pan and wash it with a sponge.

 

Cleaning the Refrigerator

 

Use a mixture of 3 tablespoons of baking soda in a quart of warm water; wash the refrigerator both inside and outside.

 

Refrigerator Odour

Keep on the lower shelf of the refrigerator, a cotton ball soaked with vanilla or an open box of baking soda to get rid of odour.

Clean Sink

Soak paper towels with household bleach and lay it in the bottom off the stoneware sink for 30 minutes to remove stains.

 

Stainless Steel Sinks

Use white vinegar to remove spots on stainless steel sinks. Use carbonated water to add shine.

 

Teapot Cleaning

To clean the teapot, fill the kettle with equal amount of water and vinegar, boil it for a while, and let it stand overnight.

 

Cleaning the Thermos

To clean the Thermos, fill the bottle with warm water and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Let it soak.

Pie Pans

To remove stains and rust from tin pie pans, rub it with a raw potato dipped in cleanser.
